Yesterday I took off with my friends Ladi, Monika, and Kathy out to Lakeland to try to make a picture of the Florida Polytechnic University. This building looks like a giant spaceship, and had an even cooler look to it during the blue hour. Shot the picture with the Canon 5d Mark III and a 16-35 lens.
I heard yesterday that my friend Mike Olivella was up in Chiefland, FL at the Chiefland Star Party. My friend Carl is into Astronomy, so at the last minute we decided to make the 2 hour drive and go see Mike and his friends make pictures of the stars. A couple of weeks ago, I was up in NYC for Photo Plus. Before the show started, I wanted to try to make another shot of Central Park from the JW Essex House on 59th street.
