Reaching for the duffel bag, I told them &#8220;wanna see something I haven&#8217;t opened in a _loooong_ time?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I had done kickboxing for about a dozen years, going full speed throughout college and after. A couple of computer jobs later, I just kinda got tired at the pounding I was giving myself  I still keep the gear- part memory , part a &#8220;one day &#8221; kinda thing. <\/p>\n<p>Not gonna lie- opening the bag and smelling the sweat stained gloves and wraps gave me this wild wistful feeling.  You couldn&#8217;t pay me enough to put those mouth guards in&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Not without a good wash.  I better go wash my hands!
