{"id":5486,"date":"2015-09-04T13:31:04","date_gmt":"2015-09-04T17:31:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/aboutrc.com\/?p=5486"},"modified":"2015-11-14T07:40:25","modified_gmt":"2015-11-14T12:40:25","slug":"star-wars-print-donation-sale-for-hudson","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aboutrc.com\/?p=5486","title":{"rendered":"Star Wars Print &#8211; Donation Sale for Hudson"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On this #ForceFriday #ForceAwakens day our hearts are with Huddy. \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/1fYhPv3\" target=\"_blank\">Hudson is a kid who at 16 months old was diagnosed with\u00a0Stage IV Neuroblastoma in 2004<\/a>. \u00a0He is now 4 years old, and this week the family was just told he has two months to live.<\/p>\n<p>Two months. \u00a0I cant even begin to comprehend how to look at my daughter &#8211; who is 6 &#8211; and know that she would be gone 2 years by now. \u00a0I was talking to my friend Kathy about it, just hung up the phone and cried&#8230; \u00a0 I couldn&#8217;t imagine how helpless this must feel for the entire family.<\/p>\n<p>So what are they doing? \u00a0They&#8217;re taking as many resources as they can, <a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/1fYhPv3\" target=\"_blank\">as much of their finances as they can and giving as many memories as they can in two months<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>JUST YESTERDAY<\/strong> Kathy found out that there were two things Hudson wanted:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A pony ride<\/li>\n<li>Battle Darth Vader.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Kathy was able to reach out to the <a href=\"http:\/\/fl501st.com\/squad-coverage\/tampa-bay-squad\/\" target=\"_blank\">501st Tampa Garrison<\/a> and in no time flat has several volunteers at the ready. \u00a0Whenever Hudson feels up to doing it &#8211; he&#8217;s <em><strong>getting<\/strong><\/em> that Vader battle. \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.501st.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">The 501st <\/a>is an amazing organization, and they deserve so much credit and praise for doing things like this day in and day out.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>*What I&#8217;m Trying*<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>I couldn&#8217;t even dare to presume I could give this family anything of value other than my voice or what I can do in a camera. \u00a0I&#8217;ve taken some cool #StarWars shots. \u00a0I&#8217;m going to print them. \u00a0I&#8217;m going to send them for his room.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m also going to print them to sell. \u00a0Here&#8217;s the deal: \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/1fYhPv3\" target=\"_blank\">Go to his YouCaring site for Donations<\/a>. \u00a0Make a donation of 200.00. \u00a0You can have your choice of any of these prints, up to a 17&#215;22.
