Giovanni D’Italia: The Cobbler’s Corner
I was driving back to my friends house from doing the shoot at the Elysian Cafe in Hoboken, when I had him immediately stop the car. Out of the corner of my eye I saw this shoe shop on the corner of 7th and Garden called Giovanni D’Italia. As we drove I noticed that there was just so much going on in such a little store- I HAD to get out of the car and try for a shot.
Ipad in hand I went to see if I can explain what kind of image I wanted to make and how long it would take me. As much as I was prepared to show my work to help move the No to a Yes, I was immediately met with a warm Yes from Giovanni, the owner of the store. Quickly I went back to the car and got the tripod out. The shot is series of 5 shot bursts in about 4 sections, put back together and post-worked in Photoshop.
As much as I love this image on screen, this is DEFINITELY one of those that’s going to need to be seen muuch bigger. I think this may be one of those “I have to take it to APC” moments to really show it off! The image below is the actual panoramic of it. Click on the image below and you’ll see bigger options over in Flickr.

I have you book and I’m building my first site, How did you do the slide show with captions on your home page. Is that another Flash based component?

I just finished watching you video on Kelby training and you training was great. Would you kindly answer how to shoot any motion, ie. people moving or cars into a HRD photo. this is one thing I cannot master.
Thank you,
